Area
The most important
step is to trace zip codes into the broadest potential household
reach in all directions to maximize the response to your
advertising. The biggest mistake is to follow the growth areas
and high family income. Once you have traced the zip codes......Do
Not locate near the "Rim" of the trade area. This
will dramatically reduce the potential of your final location.
The ultimate goal is to define the Box within the
center of the trade area and the exact North, South, East and
West streets down to the intersection.
